Education of a high standard

R. R. Morarka Public School conducts classes from Nursery to XIIth. English is the medium of instruction. Special care is being given to the teaching of English language at different levels but it is not the exclusive language being used here. We give equal importance to the national language Hindi.

A Society registered under the BOMBAY PUBLIC TRUSTS ACTS-1950 [Reg. No-E-15895], the RRMPS has been affiliated up to XII (Affiliation No. - 2130396) by the Central Board of Secondary Education, DELHI. We follow the curriculum fixed by the CBSE. 

Presently, 693 students are enrolled with the school. They come from villages and towns surrounding Dwarikesh Nagar. Then number could go higher but the school takes special care to keep the teacher-student ratio to a reasonable level to ensure that ever student gets proper attention of the teachers. To ensure this, a limit of 40 students per class has been fixed. Children from all communities and religions are admitted to the school based on merit, without any discrimination on any ground.

R R Morarka Charitable Trust also provides scholarships to meritorious students at the rate of Rs. 1,000/- per student. These scholarships are given on an annual basis. A scholar standing first in his/ her class on the basis of over-all performance in all tests and exams is entitled to this merit scholarship. 

Admission

In the School new admissions are made only in class Nursery and for all classes on the basis of an admission test and interview. Admission in any class is subject to the availability of seats and mere registration does not guarantee admission. Only students scoring 55% or more marks in previous classes can apply for admission in RRMPS. Application forms and prospectus are made available in January and they must reach RRMPS by the given deadline.

Admission Procedure

Parents having desire to admit their wards in this school are required to register them on a prescribed form available at the school website or at the school reception. No written test or interview is conducted for the students of NURSERY, LKG and UKG. Admissions to the other higher classes are made on the basis of written tests and interviews. Minimum age required for admission to different classes as on April 01, 2010 is given below:

Nursery 2.5 Years
LKG 3.5 Years
UKG 4.5 Years
Class I and Onwards 5.5 Years and onwards

 The following documents are required to be submitted at the time of registration:

  • Photocopy of the Date of Birth certificate of the child

  • Four passport size coloured photograph of the child

  • Photocopy of the transfer certificate of the previous school attended

  • From class I onwards Mark sheet/Progress report of the previous class attended.

Fees

The fees charged by the school are very nominal. We have a class wise fee structure which is collected quarterly. 

Student Withdrawal

RRMPS has well-defined student withdrawal norms. Parents are requested to carefully read these before applying for withdrawal.

1. Parents can apply for the withdrawal of their ward from school before 31st March; else they will have to pay dues till the month of June.

2. If a student leaves the school in mid-session, the parents will have to pay tuition fee of three months or give a three-months notice in advance.

3. The school administration reserves the right of asking a student to withdraw for reasons it deems reasonable.

The managing committee of RRMPS is free to change or modify the school rules and regulations from time to time without prior notice.

The decision of managing committee on admissions or withdrawal and all school related matters shall be final and binding.

School transport facility is available from Nagina and Najibabad.

School Uniform for Summers

Each student is required to wear full school uniform on all working days and must appear neat and tidy. There are different uniforms for summers and winters respectively. White shirt is specified for both boys and girls for both the weathers. Emphasis is given on neat and clean uniform and students are encouraged to remain presentable. Students are divided into four Houses. The dress code for all the houses is White Trousers / Divided Skirt with white shoes and socks along with a T-shirt of the house colour and Steel Grey Kurta and same color Salwar and Dupattas of the house color (class 7th upwards for Girls) with white shoes and socks.
